HASSAN: After the arrest of BJP leader and advocate Devarajegowda, the SIT has arrested two more people, including a close aide of former BJP MLA Preetham Gowda, in connection with the Prajwal Revanna’s viral pen drive case.
The SIT officials arrested Likhit Gowda and Yelagunda Chetan on Saturday night and are questioning them. The former is said to be an aide of former MLA and BJP state general secretary Preetham Gowda.
Chetan and Likhit were identified with Pritam Gowda from many years. Chetan is a Preetham Gowda’s office staff and Nikhit is a close friend. The arrest of the BJP workers has generated much curiosity among people.
The two people were arrested for their alleged involvement in the distribution of the pen drives. The two are being interrogated at the cyber crime police station at Hassan Town police station complex.
