CHAMARAJANAGAR: Kollegal police arrested two men, who were illegally transporting 4.386 kg of ambergris from Bengaluru to Tamil Nadu.
The accused are Vasanth Kumar (50) from Ashokapuram in Mysuru and Vairamudi (40) from Ramanagara district.
The duo was caught near Hosaholalu in Kollegal during a vehicle check on the national highway. A case has been registered, and the accused have been produced before court and remanded to judicial custody. Further investigation is under way.
