Two groups clash with sticks at Madiwala market; two people taken into custody so far

BENGALURU: A clash broke out between two groups at Madiwala market, who fought with sticks and weapons, over a trivial reason. The incident occurred around 6 pm on Saturday.

The two groups of Raghavendra and Chandru were involved in the altercation and assaulted each other over the issue of setting up a shop in Madiwala market. ComplaintsĀ  have been filed from both sides at Madiwala police station and two people have been taken into custody.

Another person is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital and after he is discharged, police will arrestĀ  him. The possibility is that two groups clashed over space allocation for setting a shop at Madiwala Market.

The brawl between the two groups was captured on a CCTV camera. Based on the footage, Madiwala police have taken those involved in the fight into custody and are investigating.
