BELAGAVI: Two friends were killed in a road accident when their two-wheeler collided with a tractor parked by the side of Raxi-Shiragaon Road in Hukkeri taluk on Monday evening.
The deceased were identified as Siddharuda Veerabhadra Karoshi (24) and Mallanagowda Yallanagowda Patil (21) of Chachadi village in Savadatti taluk.
The two were travelling on a motorcycle towards Shiragaon village from Raxi when they collided with a parked tractor. They suffered severe head injuries and locals helped shift them to a hospital by ambulance. However, they did not respond to treatment and died.
A case has been registered at Hukkeri police station.
