BIDAR: Two workers died after inhaling poisonous gas at a factory at the Humnabad industrial area on Sunday night. The deceased were identified as Mohammed Shahdab (21) and Indrajit (23).
Eight workers were on duty at the Sri Prasanna Pre-processing Pvt Ltd when there was a gas leak at night during preparation of chemicals. While the two workers died on the spot, six others managed to escape.
The dead workers hailed from Vaddanakera village in Chitaguppa taluk. Senior police officers visited the spot. The Humnabad police have registered a case.
