TUMAKURU: Two electric bikes were gutted after a fire broke out in an electric two-wheeler showroom at Turuvekere town on Monday night. It is suspected that an electrical short circuit may have caused the fire.
The fire broke out at Gemopai Electric Scooters showroom on Tiptur road in Turuvekere. Of the 18 electric scooters, two were completely burnt. The Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot and doused the fire.
