KOLAR: Two deer died after getting entangled in pipes meant for drip irrigation at Kolaganjanahalli village in the taluk. The deer had probably entered the field in search of food.
The deer somehow got entangled in bundles of discarded drip irrigation pipes and struggled to free themselves. Finally, they died in a pit in an open field.
The Forest Department officials visited the spot and buried the animals after taking viscera samples for post-mortem examination.
