BENGALURU: Two people died on the spot after a car crashed into the lorry when its driver braked suddenly on the Tumkur-Bengaluru national highway, near T Begur in Nelamangala taluk on Friday morning.
The deceased were identified as Shivalinga Gowda (60) and Pramila (55) while three others were seriously injured.
Five members of a family were travelling in the Maruti Ertiga car to Narayana Hospital in Bengaluru from Ron in Gadag district. The Nelamangala traffic police have visited the place.
