CHAMARAJANAGAR: Two people died, and at least 10 others were injured in a head-on collision between a KSRTC bus and a Tata Ace goods vehicle near Siddaiahanapura in Kollegala taluk.
The deceased have been identified as Rajamma (50) and Shruti (28) from Banuru village in Kollegala taluk. The accident occurred while they were returning after attending a ritual in Kollegala.
The Kollegala Rural police visited the spot and registered a case. The bodies have been sent to the Kollegal government hospital for post-mortem examination. The injured have been taken to a hospital in Mysuru for further treatment.
