TUMAKURU: A motorcycle rider and his pillion died on the spot after their two-wheeler crashed into a KSRTC bus coming from the opposite direction near Alburu close to Nonavinakere in Tiptur taluk on Friday night.
The deceased were identified as Yogesh (23) and Dayanand (25), both hailing from Bidarekere and working in an automobile garage. The two were heading towards Turuvekere from Bidarekere when the accident occurred.
The Nonavinakere police visited the spot and have taken up further investigation after registerign a case.
