YADGIRI: Two children died after accidentally falling into a well while grazing cattle in Devatkal village in Surpur taluk on Sunday night. The police recovered one body and a search was on for the other boy.
The deceased child has been identified as Shankar Meti (10), while search efforts continue for Shriyan Chadrakant (8).
On Sunday, the two children, who had a holiday for school, went to graze cattle and accidentally fell into a well after they slipped.
Firefighters and police personnel have been searching the site since last night. So far, Shankar’s body has been recovered, and the search for Shriyan continues.
This incident occurred under the jurisdiction of the Surpur police station.
