KARWAR: Two brothers drowned in the sea at Manki in Honnavar taluk of Uttara Kannada district on Thursday. The deceased are Madan Narayan Kharvi (17) and Sujan Narayan Kharvi (15).
The brothers had gone for a swim in the sea after playing kabaddi in the evening. They were swept away by the waves and went missing. After an extensive search, their bodies were found late on Thursday night.
The bodies have been sent to Honnavar government hospital for post-mortem. A case has been registered at Manki police station.
