Two brothers arrested for mobile phone thefts, picking pockets

BENGALURU: The Kengeri police in Bengaluru have arrested two brothers, who would travel from Bagepalli in Chikkaballapur, and were stealing mobile phones in the city.

The brothers would travel to Bengaluru every day, targeting crowded buses, to steal mobiles and wallets. Immediately after the theft, they would point to some person at the bus stop and tell the victim that their mobile or wallet has been taken by that person, and prevent the victim from boarding the bus.

They have been involved in multiple theft cases in Bengaluru and finally fell into the hands of the Kengeri police. The total number of stolen mobiles or wallets will be revealed through the police investigation.
