BENGALURU: Two people died in separate accidents on Sunday after being knocked down by BMTC buses, in the city.
A woman died on the spot after being hit by a BMTC bus while crossing the road, near Sri Sai Garments in Arakere under Hulimavu traffic police station. The deceased has been identified as Veena. The police visited the place and gathered information.
Similarly, another two-wheeler rider died after being knocked down by a BMTC. The accident took place under the jurisdiction of the Vijayanagara traffic police station.
The deceased Kumar (45) came under the wheels of a BMTC bus in front of the By2 Coffee shop in Govindarajanagar. The Vijayanagar traffic police have registered a case.
Previously, a man died on the spot when a speeding BMTC bus collided with his bike near Binnamangala in Nelamangala taluk.
