MANGALURU: Two men have been arrested for allegedly engaging in moral policing at Periyadka, Puttur taluk, Dakshina Kannada district. The arrested were identified as Mustaf and Mustaf Periyadka.
The incident occurred when a group of 10 students, including both males and females, were heading to a tuition class. The accused objected to the students walking together, using derogatory language and assaulting one of the students.
The students filed a complaint with the Uppinangady police following which the two men were arrested.
