BENGALURU: Two people were arrested after attempting to rape two women of Kashmiri origin on pretext of parting, at Vivek Nagar on Tuesday .
The accused have been identified as Ajay and Aditya. All four studied together at Jalandhar University and were working at a private company in the city. The two men invited the women to their house on the pretext of partying. They all drank till 2 am and men attempted to rape the two women. One of them hid in the bathroom in a bid to escape.
The woman filed a case against them at Vivekanagar police station. The police arrested two men and further investigation is under way.
