BELAGAVI: Two army commandos from Belagavi Commando Training Centre died after their boat capsized during river crossing training in Tilari Dam in Maharashtra.
The deceased have been identified as Vijay Kumar Dinawal (28) from Rajasthan and Divakar Roy (26) from West Bengal.
The two jawans from the JL Wing Commando Training Center, were leading a team of six soldiers the river crossing training.Four soldiers survived, while two died in the incident.
The two soldiers from the Belagavi Commando Training Division had gone to the Tillari dam backwaters for river crossing training. The boat capsized while crossing from one river bank to the other, resulting in the deaths of the two commandos.
