MADIKERI/MANGALURU: Days after tremors were felt in three districts, fresh tremors were felt in parts of Kodagu and Dakshina Kannada districts on Saturday.
Around 9.10 am, a loud sound was heard in the Pattiphant forest area and residents of Sampaje, Chembu and Goonadka felt houses and household articles rattling. Tremors were also felt in Devastur, Negalli and other parts.
In Dakshina Kannada district too, tremors were felt in several parts of Sullia taluk including the town, around the same time, lasting 3-4 seconds. The tremors, measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale, were felt in Markanja, Aletti, Todikana and Peraje.
The Karnataka State Disaster Management Authority has confirmed that there had been tremors in the region.
