BELAGAVI: A light trainer aircraft made an emergency landing in a field on the outskirts of the city on Tuesday morning after suffering a technical snag. Luckily, there was no loss of life.
The aircraft (VT-RBF), belonging to Redbird Aviation, had taken off from the Sambra airport around 8 am and suffered a snag soon after. It was forced to make an emergency landing at an open field at Honnihala.
It is said that two people were in the aircraft and both are safe. The Marihal police visited the spot.
