CHAMARAJANAGAR: A traffic police officer got zebra crossings painted at three junctions in the city and paid for it from his own pocket. The officer is traffic sub-inspector Hanumantha Uppar.

 

The zebra crossings were painted at Bhuvaneshwari Circle, Sultan Sharief Circle and Santhemarahalli Circle in the city to ease pedestrian movement. The officer reportedly spent Rs 50,000 to get the work done and his efforts have been appreciated by the citizens.
