BENGALURU: Traffic restrictions will be in place on major roads for two days due to the popular Karaga festival. The festival will be held on April 12 and 13.
The traffic police have instructed road users to avoid main roads, including Avenue Road, KR Market Circle, Cottonpet, KG Road and Chickpet as they will be closed to traffic.
Bengaluru Traffic Police have suggested alternative routes due to the Karaga festival procession.
Alternative routes for traffic movement:
- From Market Circle to KG Road, Anand Rao Circle to Majestic.
- From Arcot Srinivasachar Street to CCB Junction, Medical Junction, Minerva Circle and JC Road to Town Hall.
- From Shantala Junction to Khoday Junction, Hunse Mara Junction, Tank Bund Road to Mysuru Road.
