Traffic hit as lorry overturns on Goa-Chorla road near Khanapur village

BELAGAVI: A traffic jam extending several kilometres was witnessed on the Goa-Chorla road as a lorry had overturned after the driver lost control near Kalamani village in Khanapur taluk on Monday morning.

Traffic coming to Belagavi from Goa was blocked for a few hours due to the accident. The Khanapur police later managed to remove the lorry from the road and cleared it for traffic.
