TUMAKURU: The National Highway-48 witnessed a major traffic jam near Nelahal on Friday morning with vehicles piled up for several kilometres, affecting traffic coming from Sira.
Traffic was moving slow due to work taken up near Rangapura. As a result, there was a pile-up of vehicles coming towards Tumakuru on the highway. Vehicles could be seen stopped on one carriageway and also on the service road. The traffic eased after the work was completed.
