SHIVAMOGGA: A 26-year-old man from Bengaluru drowned after he slipped while clicking a selfie at the Abbi waterfall near Yadur in Hosanagara taluk on Monday. The missing person was identified as Vinod, who hailed from Ballari.
Vinod was part of a group of 12 tourists who had come from Bengaluru. The police and Fire and Emergency Services Personnel arrived at the scene and launched a search and rescue operation.
A case has been registered at the Town police station.
