SHIVAMOGGA: With the New Year’s Eve just hours away, the district administration has lifted the curbs on tourist entry at Jog Falls, which had been imposed from January 1 to March 15, 2025.
With huge tourist influx expected at Jog Falls on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, tourist entry will be allowed at other points except the Jog Development Authority entry gate. These include the View Point on the main road, Yatri Nivas, Rani Falls, Mumbai Bungalow, Mungaru Male Point and other places, as per a notification issued by the Tourism Department.
Several development works have been taken up at Jog Falls and visitor entry had been barred from January 1 to March 15, 2025. These include construction of the arch at the main entry point.
