BENGALURU: A toll plaza staffer was dragged several metres by a goods vehicle, which skipped paying up at the Electronics City toll plaza.
The horrific scene was captured on a car’s dashcam. The footage shows a Tata Ace driver attempting to escape without paying the toll, with a toll booth staffer member hanging on to the vehicle’s door.
Despite the staff member’s efforts to stop the vehicle, the driver continued to move ahead, dragging the staffer for a short distance. His knees were seen scraping the road. When he was unable to hold on to the vehicle and lost his grip, he rolled on to the road, but the driver fled the scene.
The incident, recorded on the dashcam of a car, and has gone viral on social media. The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday night, and a case has been registered at the Electronics City police station.
