BENGALURU: At a time when public anger is high after a second toll was introduced on the 10-lane expressway between Bengaluru at Mysuru at Ganaganur in Mandya district from July 1, the Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises Limited (NICE) too has increased toll charge by 11 per cent to 25 per cent from Friday late night.
The revised rates will come into effect on July 1, a notification said. The toll was last increased by 17 per cent in 2022, the company statement said.
The revised toll will be applicable on NICE Road connecting Hosuru Road, Kanakapura Road, Bannerghatta Road, Mysuru Road, Magadi Road, Tumakuru Road, Cloverleaf Junction and Link Road. According to the revised toll, it will be 11.11 per cent more for cars, 16 per cent higher for buses, 17.64 per cent for trucks, 22.22 per cent for light commercial vehicles, 16.66 per cent for multi-axle vehicles and 25 per cent more for two-wheelers.
The revised toll has been displayed at the NICE Road toll booths. The toll is increased every year as per an agreement with the state government. The revised rates on NICE Road toll come into effect from July 1.
