CHITRADURGA: Three people were electrocuted to death while erecting iron poles for a shed on a farm at Kalaghatta village in Holalkere taluk on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as farmer Srinivas (35) of Gyarehalli, labourer Nazeer (30) of Davanagere and Farooq (30). They were erecting the police for the construction of a shed to store arecanut on the farm belonging to Srinivas of Kalaghatta.
The three men suffered serious injuries after they were electrocuted and were shifted to a hospital, but did not respond to treatment. The Chikkajajur police have registered a case.
