SHIVAMOGGA: The first additional district and sessions court has handed down life imprisonment to three men who were convicted for murder. The court also ordered them to pay a fine of Rs 20,000 each.
Riyaz (22), Muniraj (33) and Arun (20) of Holalur village in Shivamogga taluk had murdered Malleshappa (39) of the same village with sharp weapons over personal rivalry. The trio had attacked Malleshappa near his land on July 27, 2020.
The Shivamogga Rural police had registered a case and filed a chargesheet after completion of investigation.
