MANGALURU: A father-daugher duo, and another occupant, survived with injuries after a private bus rammed their car from behind near Mura in Puttur taluk on Tuesday. The car was badly crushed in the accident.
The car was on its way from Puttur towards Kedila while the bus was heading towards Mangaluru from Puttur. When the car was taking a right turn at Mura, the bus rammed it from behind, completely toppling it.
All three passengers in the car, including the child, sustained injuries and were rushed to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment. The Puttur traffic police visited the spot and have registered a case.
