HASSAN: Three Bangladeshi nationals, who had entered the country illegally and were living in the city with fake Aadhaar cards have been arrested by the District Crime Records Bureau (DCRB) police. The arrested are Akmal Hoque, Faruk Ali and Jamal Ali and a case has been registered at the Pension Mohalla police.
The three were living in the house of one Zubair on 80 ft road in Gadde Halla where they were involved in some construction work. Their Aadhaar cards had West Bengal addresses. The police are now questioning them.
“We received information three days ago about the three Bangladeshi nationals living here with fake Aadhaar cards. They have now been arrested and are being questioned. This is not the first time, earlier too, Bangladeshi nationals have come to Hassan with fake Aadhaar cards. Legal action should be taken and they should be deported”, said a social activist.
