SHIVAMOGGA: Three people in a car escaped alive after the driver lost control and the vehicle rolled into Tavarekere at Ripponpet.
Three occupants were travelling in a Maruti Alto from Hassan to Kollur. As soon as the accident occurred, locals rushed to help.
As the car was rolling into the pond, locals immediately pulled the car aside and safely rescued the three occupants. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Ripponpet police station.
