YADGIR, CHIKKABALLAPUR: Three people died in separate accidents in different parts of the state on Saturday.
In Yadgir taluk, two people, who were travelling in a car, died on the spot after a collision with a tanker near Neelahalli village on National Highway-150. The Saidapura police visited the and shifted the bodies for autopsy. A case has been registered in this connection.
One person died after a pickup truck transporting tomatoes collided with a lorry near Gokare in Devanahalli taluk on the Hosakote-Dobbspet national highway stretch.
The pickup truck rammed into the lorry from behind, resulting in the death of the driver’s helper. The Devanahalli traffic police visited the spot and have registered a case.
