SHIVAMOGGA: Three people died on the spot and one was seriously injured after a lorry collided with a car in Kallukoppa village in Tirthahalli taluk on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Karthik, Vivek and Mohan. The injured was identified as Rudresh Patil. They were travelling from Shivamogga towards Davanagere when a lorry hit their car. While three died on the spot, Rudresh Patil was shifted to McGann Hospital.
After the accident, the lorry driver escaped from the spot. The incident occurred in Shivamogga Rural police limits.
