TUMAKURU: Three motorcycle riders died after the two-wheeler was hit by a tractor near the Obalapur gate in a road accident in Tumakuru on Tuesday early morning. The deceased were identified as Mohammed Asif (12), Mumtaz (38) and Shakir Hussain (48) hailing from the Guddeenahalli village in Madhugiri taluk.
A case has been registered at the Kora police station. Police Superintendent Ashok Venkat and Deputy Superintendent Chandrashekhar along with Rural CPI visited the spot. The bodies were sent to the Tumakuru district hospital for autopsy. Further investigation is under way. (ANI)
