GADAG: Three people died after a car and motorcycle collided near Mevundi village in Mundargi taluk on Friday. The victims, Shivappa Patil (35), Muthappa Mudugannavar (32), and Anand Lakshmeshwarmath (29), were riding a bike from Mundargi to Jantli village when the accident occurred.
According to reports, the bike was being driven recklessly and at high speed, leading to the collision with the car, which was headed from Doni village to Hirehadagali via Mundargi. Muthappa died on the way to the hospital, while the two others died on the spot. The car driver is seriously injured.
The bike was completely damaged, and police have launched an investigation. A case has been registered at Mundargi police station. The incident has left families devastated.
