HASSAN: Three boys, all aged 16, who had gone missing from Kuniganahalli in Sakleshpur taluk after they set out for school around 7.30 am on Wednesday, were traced to Bengaluru on Thursday night. On Thursday, the Sakleshpur Rural police rushed to Mysuru on getting information that the boys had been spotted there.
The three boys, Sharat, Dhananjaya and Murali are students of Class 10 at the goverment high school at Adaravalli. When they did not turn up at school, the teachers informed the parents, who launched a search. Sharat was carrying a mobile phone, but it was switched off.
The boys’ parents Dharmaprakash of Kuniganahalli and Mahendra of Kiruhunase villages approached the police after failing to locate them.
After conducting a search in Mysuru, the police arrived in Bengaluru where they traced one of the boys to the Yeshwantpur railway station. The two other boys were traced to their relatives’ houses and all three were taken into custody to be reunited with their parents at Kuniganahalli village.
