BENGALURU: The Hebbagodi police have arrested three people after a minor clash broke out near Happy Homes apartment in Maragondanahalli three days ago in which one person sustained grievous head injuries.
The incident occurred during Ganesha Chaturthi celebration when some youths from another community went to the Ganesha pandal to watch the proceedings. One of the organisers, Bharat, proceeded to apply a tilak on the youths to which they objected. Bharat then questioned why they had come and sent them away.
The youths, who went to the apartment, returned a little while later with their brothers and picked an argument. As matters escalated, one Srinivas Reddy was brutally attacked, leaving him seriously injured in the head.
The Hebbagodi police have registered a case and taken up further investigation.
