CHIKKABALLAPUR: Unidentified thieves made a vain bid to break open the lockers at a bank in the district administration building here on Monday night.
Three thieves had managed to break open the door fo the SBI branch, but could not pry open the lockers. They left taking away some locks with them.
On Tuesday, the Chikkaballapur Rural police visited the spot and fingerprint experts collected evidence. The police are now on the lookout for the thieves.
