The T20 season begins with Team India taking against Australia following the World Cup

BENGALURU: BCCI, which is the richest cricket body in the world, has successfully conducted the ODI World Cup 2023 tournament. Team India won the first 10 matches but lost the World Cup. With the defeat in the final match, they settled for the runner-up title. As the World Cup ends, Team India will have consecutive T20 cricket series.

Team India’s T20 cricket festival will begin with the series against Australia on November 23. India will play a 5-match T20 series against Australia from November 23 to December 3. India will play a 3-match T20 series against South Africa from December 10 to 14. India will then play a 3-match T20 series against Afghanistan from January 11 to 17, 2024.

“India will participate in the campaign to prepare for the T20 World Cup tournament, which will be hosted by America and the West Indies in 2024”, said BCCI.

Team India has already announced the team of strong young players for the T20 series against Australia, and the explosive batsman Suryakumar Yadav is the captain of the team. Former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman has been appointed as the head coach for this series. The team will be announced for the rest of the series based on the players’ abilities.
