Temperature rises in Bengaluru, other parts of state after monsoon withdraws

BENGALURU: The state capital, which is known for its cool weather, is now again feeling the heat with the maximum temperature touching 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature rising to 27 degrees Celsius on Monday.

The Sun is already beating down on Bengaluru and other parts of the state.

Not only Bengaluru, several other parts of the state including Haveri, Bagalkot have witnessed a rise in temperature at 35 degrees Celsius while Karwar recorded 34 degrees Celsius.

The temperature is up by 3-4 degrees Celsius than normal and weather experts blame inadequate rainfall for the rise in temperature.
