MANDYA: Popular television artist Pavitra Jayaram died in a car accident on Sunday morning near Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh. Pavitra died on the spot, but further details are awaited.
Pavitra hails from Mandya and had acted in many television serials including ‘Robo Family’, ‘Neeli’, ‘Radha Ramana’ and ‘Jokali’. Her portrayal of a negative role in the Telugu serial ‘Trinayani’ caught the attention of the audience.
