BENGALURU: A techie’s wife was found dead in a suspicious circumstances in Manjunath Nagar. The deceased has been identified as Sandhya. She was married to Jayaprakash, a software engineer, five years ago.
The couple have a four-year-old son who is mute and the couple would quarrel over this, sources said. The families of both had intervened on several occasions to ensure peace, but Jayaprakash kept harassing his wife by raising the child’s problem. Fed up with the husband’s constant mental harassment, Sandhya committed suicide on Thursday night.
The parents of the victim have accused her husband of killing their daughter after strangling her. A complaint has been registered at Basaveshwara Nagar police station regarding the suspected death. Following this, the police have taken Jaiprakash into custody and are investigating.
