SUV with ‘MLA’ pass among 8 clamped in no-parking zone near BMS College

The Mahindra Thar sporting an MLA pass, was clamped by the traffic police behind BMS College.

BENGALURU: An SUV, flaunting a Karnataka Legislative Assembly pass was among eight vehicles which were clamped by the traffic police for parking in a no-parking zone on Poornachandra Tejaswi Road behind BMS College near Vidyapeetha on Thursday.

A total of eight cars parked in the no-parking zone were clamped.

The Mahindra Thar (KA 01 MV 6318) bearing the name of B B Ningaiah, Mudigere MLA. However, the sitting Mudigere MLA is M P Kumaraswamy. Later, the MLA pass was mysteriously removed.

The traffic police clamped a total of eight cars parked on the road. The vehicles are believed to belong to students of BMS College.
