BENGALURU: A police sub-inspector, Maibub Guddalli, was killed in an accident near Surya City in Chandapura while returning after arresting accused individuals in a ganja case.
The police had stopped their car near Surya City, and the sub-inspector was standing outside when a truck came from behind and hit him and the car.
The accident was caught on CCTV camera. The incident took place on June 24 and the sub-inspector succumbed to his injuries without responding to treatment. The truck driver fled the scene after the accident.
