Studio, bakery set on fire, equipment worth lakhs stolen and destroyed in Bidar

BIDAR: A studio was broken into and set on fire by unidentified men at Adarsh Colony here on Sunday night. The thieves also made away with Rs 70,000 cash, an iPhone and two cameras kept in the studio.

The fire damaged equipment worth about Rs 15 lakh in the studio. It also spread to an adjacent bakery, damaging property, including a fridge, worth about Rs 8 lakh.

The SSV Studio belongs to one Prithviraj while the Sweet House Bakery is owned by on Seeman. The Gandhiganj police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the thieves-cum-arsonists.
