BAGALKOT: A group of students threw stones at a bus and blocked the road at the Shigikeri Cross elevated road near here, alleging that KSRTC buses were not stopping at designated stops.
Due to this, scores of vehicles were stranded on the elevated road for some time.
It was only after the police visited the spot and spoke to the protesting students that they relented. The traffic jam was cleared later on.
