MANGALURU: The CCB police have arrested a youth for selling drugs to students and others in different parts of the city and recovered 25 grams of MDMA worth Rs 1.25 lakh from him.
The arrested Lukumanul Hakeem, a resident of Ajjawara in Sullia is himself a student of a private college in Bendoorwell. He was apprehended during a special drive undertaken by the police under the ‘drugs-free campaign’.
The police suspect that the many others are involved in the drug racket and are on their trail. A case has been registered at the Mangaluru East police station.
