MYSURU: In a heroic act, a man named Kappadi Madhu from Hebbalu Kopplu village risked his life to save a young man, Manju, who was drowning in the Cauvery river near Kappadi Temple in KR Nagar taluk.
Manju, son of Pujarappa from Arasanakoppalu village, had gone to the river for a bath and got swept away by the strong currents. Madhu jumped into the river and bravely rescued Manju, bringing him to safety.
