SHIVAMOGGA: One SSLC student lost her life in an accident while on her way to write the exam while another ended his life in different parts of the district on Monday.
Umme Kulsoom (15), a resident of Banjaraghatta in Moodalavitthalapura was killed after she was knocked down by a Toyota Innova MUV while she was crossing the road. She was on her way to write the SSLC exam and died on the spot. The Holehonnur police have registered a case.
In another incident, Parashuram Babu (16) committed suicide at his house at Yedehalli village in Sagar taluk, apparently due to fear of examinations.
Parashuram was a student of the KPSC school at Anandapura and was good at academics. He also also prepared himself well for the examination, but is suspected to have ended his life due to fear. The Anandapura police have registered a case
